Paddyogall Id rather our lads stay out of croker than humiliate themselves up there like your lads,bunch of chokers.We may not get there too often but when we do we never get flogged like mayo,the shame of it.In 2006 I left on exactly 50 minutes,there was a Q up the steps with people (all mayonaissers) leavin half them throwin away hats scarves and headbands swearin never to go to another mayo match again.I wonder were u 1 of them Paddy?Or were u 1 of those who just sat there squirming in your seat?Dont get me wrong il always cheer for mayo when they get to the latter stages(i know,we are usually long gone),but dont look upon gettin to croker as an achievement,not with those performances. fredrickwood (Roscommon) - Posts: 2871 - 28/05/2009 18:28:50 296892 Link 0 |

I see you are from the Homer Simpson school of effort "Trying is the first step towards failure" and "You tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is-never try" Is that why Roscommon don't try a leg outside of Connacht? I don't think so. High performance sport is different gravy, and steel can only be forged in fire. Its easy to condemn someone else's effort, when you have never tried yourself.
